The ultimate adrenaline rush! All six waterfalls are different, the tallest one measuring 40 meters (131 feet). www.familiabrenestours.com
Cerro Amigos is a trail just behind the hotel that leads to the highest point in Monteverde. The dirt road is used to access the TV towers located on top of the mountain. The hike takes about one hour to reach the top, but the road is steep and not for the faint of heart. The views from the top – overlooking Monteverde, the Pacific Ocean, and even Lake Arenal on clear days – are well worth the effort.
