Our lively Restaurante Celajes features splendid balconies overlooking the Pacific Ocean and offers inventive farm to table dishes, created by our chef Jose Pablo Gonzalez and served by our warm and friendly staff. We use only the freshest ingredients grown on the hotel’s organic garden or on the Belmar family farm, Madre Tierra; to create simple, balanced Costa Rican inspired cuisine.
Open for breakfast from 6:30 am to 10 am, lunch from 12 pm to 3 pm, and dinner from 6 pm until 9 pm. Reservations are suggested for dinner. Celajes also offers room service from 12 pm to 9 pm. You will find a menu in your room and can order by dialing 212 on your room phone.
Breakfasts in the restaurant veranda have become one of the most beloved parts of the Belmar experience. Our newly created a la carte breakfast menu features a variety of farm to table options using the best fresh ingredients from our garden as well as fresh cheese organic coffee, free range eggs and bacon from our farm. This is truly the best way to start your day in the cloud forest.

Enjoy the world’s best coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, and your choice from our a la carte breakfast menu in privacy of your room. Served on your terrace, by your hot tub, or in bed.
Take your lunch on your hike to the cloud forest, to one of the lovely rivers in the area, or to any of the other wonderful natural sites in Monteverde. We will prepare a basket with your choice from our lunch menu including wine, beverages, and dessert.
Enjoy a private romantic dinner prepared by our chef especially for you. Savor your meal under the stars on your own terrace or in a private area of our Tea Room. The meal consists of custom-prepared courses, wine or champagne, and your own personal waiter to tend to your every need. Please reserve at least 24 hours in advance.
Our Celajes Lounge Bar is open from noon until 10 pm daily and specializes in craft beverages created from local, organic, and
seasonal ingredients, many of which come straight from the garden. Make sure to sample Costa Rica’s national liquor made from sugarcane, guaro, and our house infused liquors and homemade syrups. We also offer an assortment of wines, quality beers, and spirits.
Our version of happy hour, Tico Time (offered every day from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm in the Celajes Lounge) features an assortment of bocas (the Tico word for tapas), complimentary with selected items, as well as 2 for 1 on house beer and wine.
